WELCOME TO STARVIN' FOR JUSTICE 2005

The 12th Annual Fast & Vigil to Abolish the Death Penalty
at the U.S. Supreme Court
June 29th - July 2nd, 2005

MOVIES

  • The Wayward Airplane Scare - One evening an airplane entered the Washington, DC no-fly zone, and the Capitol was evacuated. Here's a brief clip that shows the scene, including a protest by people unhappy with SCOTUS' recent decision on eminent domain, and the SCOTUS police officer inviting us to take cover. This film was made by F&V participant Hooman Keshavars Hedayaty. Thanks Hooman!

  • Death Row Survivor Shujaa Graham - Shujaa Graham was one of our main speakers at the teach-in on June 29. The audio on this film is a little choppy (we had some technical difficulties with the public address system), but you get a real sense of the man, and the scene. Check it out! This film was made by F&V participant Hooman Keshavars Hedayaty. Thanks Hooman!
